Founded by Lara Boglione of Petersham Nurseries and her winemaker husband Giovanni Mazzei, Trogolo is a lively Florentine trattoria where authentic ingredients, traditional family recipes, and warm Italian hospitality come together.

Inside, candlelight flickers over limewashed walls and snug wooden seating, creating an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. The menu celebrates the simplicity and heart of Tuscan cuisine. Dishes feature carefully sourced organic chicken, slow-braised meats, wild boar pappardelle, and indulgent cheese and pear combinations, all crafted to highlight the quality of the ingredients. Bread, olive oil, and fresh cheeses play a starring role, while desserts such as almond-studded biscuits in sweet wine provide a joyful finish.
